Common Scenarios

Weekly Account Health Check

Keep your accounts healthy with regular validation.

Steps:
  1. Select all accounts (or filter by tag)
  2. Choose Check Status operation
  3. Set delay: 2 seconds
  4. Execute and review results
  5. Address any failed/locked accounts

Organize by Campaign

Tag accounts for different campaigns or purposes.

Steps:
  1. Filter accounts by criteria (status, proxy, etc.)
  2. Select the matching accounts
  3. Choose Add Tag operation
  4. Enter tag name: "campaign-spring-2024"
  5. Execute (instant, no delay needed)

Migrate to New Proxies

Switch accounts to a new proxy provider.

Steps:
  1. Add new proxies to BotWitter
  2. Select accounts using old proxy
  3. Choose Assign Proxy operation
  4. Select new proxy ID
  5. Execute with 500ms delay
  6. Run Check Status to validate new connections

Launch Coordinated Tweet

Post similar content from multiple accounts for amplification.

Steps:
  1. Select accounts tagged for this campaign
  2. Choose Post Tweet operation
  3. Enter tweet text (or enable AI variation)
  4. Set delay: 30-60 seconds (varied)
  5. Execute over 15-30 minutes for natural spread
Tip: Use AI to rephrase tweets so each account posts unique content.

Handling Errors

Not every operation succeeds. Here's how to handle common errors:

Error Cause Solution
Rate Limited Too many requests too fast Increase delay, wait and retry
Auth Failed Invalid or expired credentials Re-validate account, update cookies
Not Found Target user/tweet doesn't exist Check input data, skip invalid
Proxy Error Proxy connection failed Validate proxy, assign different one
Timeout Request took too long Retry or skip, check network
Retry Failed: After a batch completes, you can retry only the failed items. Fix the underlying issues first, then re-run with just the failed accounts.

Best Practices

Getting Started

  • Start with a small test batch (10-20 accounts) to verify everything works as expected
  • Use the preview feature to double-check your selection before executing
  • Monitor the first few operations to catch any issues early

Large Scale Operations

  • For 500+ accounts, use longer delays (3-5 seconds) to ensure stability
  • Consider splitting very large batches into multiple smaller runs
  • Schedule large operations during off-peak hours for better performance

Twitter Actions

  • Use higher delays (5-10 seconds) for tweet, like, and follow operations
  • Enable AI variation when posting similar content to avoid duplicate detection
  • Spread coordinated actions over 15-30 minutes for natural appearance

Organization Tips

  • Tag accounts before running batch operations for easier filtering
  • Schedule weekly Check Status operations to keep accounts healthy
  • Export your account data as backup before running Delete operations

Error Handling

  • Review error logs after each batch to identify patterns
  • Fix recurring errors before running similar operations again
  • Use the "Retry Failed" feature instead of re-running the entire batch

Performance

  • Avoid running multiple batch operations simultaneously on the same accounts
  • Close unnecessary browser tabs during large operations for better performance
  • Keep BotWitter running in the foreground for fastest execution

Work Smarter, Not Harder

Batch operations transform account management from a daily chore into a few-minute task.

Validate hundreds of accounts, organize by campaign, migrate proxies, and coordinate actions - all with a few clicks.
